Brooklyn Mag: 15 SPOOKY THINGS TO DO FOR HALLOWEEN IN BROOKLYN
We will have La Feria, our local artist market place taking place on the first floor of the venue and it will be free of charge. On the second floor we will feature Bands Kuye and ??? from 8:00 PM and the cost of entrance is $20. We will have Djs Madame Vacile with her afro-caribbean house based set. Jose Berrio will be playing all the miniteca top hits.
Kuye
Formed in Fall of 2018, the Colombian/Sudanese New York band is, a.k.a Juan (Juan Ospina from MAKU SoundSystem) vocals, Drukas (Andres Fonseca) drums and drum pad, Matuk (Isaac Matus) electric guitar and pedals, Mo (Mohamed Sharhabil) bass, KUYE combines roots-traditional, urban, eclectic Español with original beats and melodies. Containing lyrical substance made from the vibe and history of our times KUYE is roots modern music.
Mowri
MOWRI is a music producer, composer, sound artist, drummer/percussionist and audio engineer based in Queens, New York. Releasing his first album at the start of 2020, MOWRI exposed his initial dive into music production; revealing years of experimentations within sound design creation, digital and vinyl sampling, improvised and structured drum kit playing, resulting in an overall driving electronic fusion sound. MOWRI adds his drum kit playing and percussive production to create energetically intricate pieces that blend the worlds of electronica, hip hop, experimental rock, punk, and avant garde. MOWRI has newly emerged as a vocal artist as well, writing about social justice issues and human complexities that permeate our daily life.
Bialh Hclap
Humberto Loopz, a.k.a. Bial Hclap, is one of the top DJ/producers in Mexico’s current landscape. Originally from Guadalajara, Bial has deep roots in the the underground hip-hop scene from his hometown, but has since spread out to cover a vast array of genres including dub, nu-cumbia, global bass, jazz and beyond, all within his characteristic and unique sound. Called “the next Toy Selectah for the millennial generation” by MTV, Bial has established himself as one of the most sought-after remixers in the forefront of the evolving world of Mexican hip-hop
Madame Vacile
Verónica Villegas aka MADAME VACILE is a top music selectress, DJ and cultural activist currently based in Brooklyn, NY. She got started in the musical world with the research of traditional sounds of champeta culture, diving into those rhythms deeply rooted in Kenia, Uganda, Rwanda, Mozambique among other African nations. She has used all those sounds and combined it with the Caribbean sabrosura of the Colombian coast to bring a truly unique style of DJ performance that reflects the power of nightlife as a place of joy and resistance.

Radio Ramsés’ all-vinyl sets are a curated voyage into themes that break the bounds of genre & place specializing in world, funk, disco & beyond. For the past two years he’s honed his style and skills while spinning records in venues between Nashville, TN and Brooklyn, NY.
Tenosh
Joshua Lucio Lasso aka Tenosh is the Head Chef at Public Records, a food and music driven space in Brooklyn, NY. LA-raised and Ecuadorian-born, Lasso mixes his background with innovative elements in his music and in his food offerings.
Lasso a part of an international niche community of vinyl collectors and DJ’s. He specializes in collecting music from Latin America, Jamaica, and the US during periods of social unrest and has performed across Latin America and Asia, and domestically in the US.
Yas Meen Selectress
Yas Meen is an Egyptian DJ based in NYC spinning North African music, from Egyptian 80's Pop to Raï and Gnawa. Mixed with a hint of modern electronic sounds, her live sets also include occasional touches of Arabic Disco, House, Dub, Afrobeat and Cumbia music.
Jose Berrio
Jose Berrio is a designer and drummer based in Brooklyn. His DJ sets usually include a wide range of music genres, always trying to find the bridges between different rhythms and cultural expressions.

Nino Viejo has a passion with blending, mixing, mashups, scratching you name it. With so much new elements to learn, so many obstacles to run by. He still manage to be productive day by day mixing down.
