About Tropical Past and Future

Since 2016, Tropical Past & Future residents Prince of Queens (Combo Chimbita), Adrian is Hungry (Barrio Collective) and Little Dynasty (Names You Can Trust) have come together to create a unique vision of a tropical club from a New York City perspective. 

The musical offer draws from the many connections of NY’s musical community and the ongoing transatlantic music exchange - all which has manifested itself within vinyl record culture, both classic and contemporary. Whether it's Haitian kompas, African high life, Colombian cumbias, or house music with deep Afro-Latin roots, the focus is always on the DANCE.
