Barrio Collective hosted La Feria on December 2019 at Dromedary Tiki Bar, a Bushwick establishment with creative Tiki cocktails and enough space to squeeze 12 vendors on top of their usual patrons.
It was a warm event for a cold December night away from our families. DJs played vintage Cumbia and Salsa records early in the day while the mood was set. The music was kept loud to mute the sound of Las Sisters Street’s Tattoo machines whirling at the side of the bar. Vendors vended, people danced and gathered around like we did back home.
